I’m an Italian-Brazilian director based in London since 2009.
I began my career as a creative in advertising before moving into filmmaking.
I directed A Box For Rob (a.k.a. The Box Cutter depending on the territory) an award-winning feature film in the U.S. and I’m currently developing my second feature film.
My long time interest for dance often takes me to explore and incorporate movement into my work either through camera choreography or body language and dance.
As a director, I’ve also worked in Brazil, the UK, Italy, Germany and Spain, making commercials, content, dance films and music videos.
On this website you can see a small selection of what I have done to date, but probably the most accurate exemplo of what I’m trying to achieve in terms of narrative and visual language.
Soon after graduating in advertising I started working as a producer of adverts and later on as an assistant director to many prominent Brazilian directors working on advertising campaigns for clients such as Pernambucanas, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, MAM, Le Postiche, Grendene, Caixa Econômica Federal, Brasil Telecom, Duralex, VISA, Chevrolet, VIVO, C&A, Ford, P&G Gillette and Always, Head & Shoulders, Nestle, TIM, Fisk and Maggi.
I also studied acting at Fatima Toledo's School, known for films such as City of God and Elite Squad. I am currently an associated member at the Actors Centre where I keep up to date with the acting techniques, essential to my work with actors.
Since 2009 when I moved from São Paulo to London I’ve also being working as camera operator and DOP on several projects across TV and WEB content, drama and documentary, for clients including BMW, Red Bull, ADIDAS, Sunglass Hut, VOGUE, Armani, The Telegraph, Berkeley and Pepsi to name a few.
All these extra experience has being useful towards improving my vision and skills as a director.
